PRACTICE POLICY
Southside Chiropractic may be contacted by telephone on 0141 405 5905 during normal opening hours. If a member of staff is unavailable, practice members are encouraged to leave a voicemail message or contact the practice by email at info@southsidechiropractic.co.uk. All messages will be responded to as promptly as possible during business hours.
Our Prices:
The fee for an Adjustment is £44.
The fee for Progress Scans is £30.
The fee for a ReActivation is £74 and occurs over 2 appointments.
Where clinically appropriate and outlined within the practice members individual and agreed care plan, practice members may be offered the option to purchase a pre-paid block of twelve chiropractic adjustments. The purchase of a care block is optional and subject to the practice’s applicable refund and cancellation policies.
We take payments for Reassessment scans and ReAcivation scans & report upfront when booking in.
Appointment Scheduling / Missed Appointments:
Practice members are required to provide a minimum of two working days’ notice to cancel or reschedule an initial consultation appointment. Failure to provide sufficient notice will result in a charge of £90, which will be deducted from the practice members account.
For all subsequent appointments, a minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule. Appointments cancelled or missed without adequate notice will be charged at the full cost of the scheduled appointment.
All appointment changes must be arranged directly with the front desk team.
Refunds:
The £90 upfront payment for an initial consultation appointment is fully refundable up to two working days prior to the scheduled appointment.
If a pre-paid block is purchased and care is modified or stopped, any unused prepaid sessions will be refunded on a pro-rata basis at the PAYG rate. Patients will not be financially disadvantaged for following clinical advice.
All refunds must be processed in person or by telephone and will be returned via the original method of payment where possible
Adjusting Policy:
Chiropractic adjustments are typically performed in the open plan room located downstairs.
A private room may be requested; however, practice members are advised to notify front desk staff in advance so availability can be provided.
For safety and comfort during adjustments, practice members are asked to remove glasses or eyewear and to empty pockets of personal items, including mobile phones, wallets, and keys, prior to lying down.
Please Note
All spinal improvements and healing takes time. We do our upmost to ensure that care at our centre is of the highest quality, if you do not feel satisfied with your body’s response, please make an appointment to discuss this with your Chiropractor. We want you to feel happy and satisfied and get the most form your care. Please note, we will not tolerate any verbal or physical abusive or behaviour to any member of the team. This would unfortunately result in immediate dismissal of care.
General Data Protection Regulation:
Southside Chiropractic complies fully with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2018 in the handling, storage, and processing of personal data.
All practice members information is treated as strictly confidential and is stored securely in both manual and electronic formats. Access to records is restricted solely to practice staff who are directly involved in the administration, management, and clinical care of practice members.
Concerns/Complaints:
Southside Chiropractic is owned and operated by Dara Tyrrell. Chiropractic care in the United Kingdom is regulated by the General Chiropractic Council (GCC).
If at any time a practice members has a concern or complaint regarding the practice, its practitioners, or staff members, they are encouraged to raise the matter directly with Dara Tyrrell (Practice Owner and Chiropractor) by emailing info@southsidechiropractic.co.uk.
If a practice members feels that their concerns have not been satisfactorily resolved, they may contact the practice’s professional association, the United Chiropractic Association (UCA) and/ or the regulator.
